Required Information to Start or Transfer Water Service

Please have your social security number (or Tax ID for business customers only), date of birth, Driver’s License/ID, phone number, mailing address, and service address ready when you contact us to start or transfer service.

Identity & Soft Credit Check

For your protection, we must verify your identity before establishing an account. A soft credit check will be performed to confirm the identity of the new customer and determine if a deposit is necessary for the new account. The credit check will not impact your credit score.

Deposits

A deposit may be required to start your account. For residential customers, the deposit is $250. The commercial customer deposit will be equal to two months’ annualized average billing (when necessary, 2 months’ estimated annualized average billing may be used.)

In lieu of a deposit, for residential accounts only, a customer with a current account and satisfactory credit may co-sign for the new service and guarantee payment.

Security deposits may be refunded to the customer, with no interest paid, at the termination of service, or after 12 consecutive months of service with no more than 2 delinquent events.
